Welcome to Cornerstone Kids
It’s our goal to invest in the next generation. That means that everything we do in Cornerstone Kids is focused on child discipleship, family discipleship, and outreach to families. We want the next generation to be ready and equipped to live and serve in their own communities. All of our programming and events are created with this focus in mind, and we are excited to be able to come alongside families and minister to their children.

One Wish at a Time

We've created an Amazon Wish List with meaningful supply upgrades that would make a big difference in our Kids Church programming. From craft materials to educational games, these items will help us create an even more engaging and enriching experience for our children. Kids Programs
We have a place for kids of all ages! On Sunday mornings, we offer a safe and loving nursery program for infants and toddlers through age 2. Kids ages 2 through 5th grade will enjoy an interactive experience in Kids Church which includes singing, a Bible lesson, themed activities, and a chance to play and interact with a great community of kids their own age. Nursery and Kids Church classes up to 1st grade meet every week in the lower MMC, and older children in grades 2nd through 5th meet weekly in the upper MMC youth center.

Kiddies & Coffee is a time when children from birth through kindergarten, along with their parents, grandparents, or caregivers, come together for a morning of fun and a time to grow in relationships with others. We have coffee, snacks, toys, and a time of music and stories. Join us weekly on Thursday mornings from 10:30am to 11:30am in the MMC.
Children from birth through Kindergarten are welcome with their caretakers.
AWANA is designed for children ages 3 through 5th grade. It offers a fun-filled environment where kids can develop a strong biblical foundation through engaging games, songs, and Bible stories. To learn more, contact Luke at losterhus@cornerstonenj.org.

What Are Big Church Sundays?
On Big Church Sundays, we invite kids in second grade and up to join us in the main gathering to worship together as one church family. While age-appropriate discipleship environments are incredibly important for helping kids understand and grow in their faith, we also believe there is great value in intentionally creating moments for generations to worship side by side.
During these Sundays, children experience the rhythms of corporate worship alongside parents, mentors, and the broader church community. The sermons are designed to engage both adults and children, often incorporating humor, engaging illustrations, and a slightly shorter format that helps younger listeners stay attentive.
These shared moments help children begin to see themselves as an important part of the larger church family, fostering a sense of belonging, connection, and participation in the life of the church.

I have been at Cornerstone since 2016 but began my role in Family Ministry in February 2023. Hi Kids Church family! My name is Kiara, and I am so excited to be a part of this amazing community. I am a teacher by profession and have a true passion for working with children, helping them grow, learn, and feel loved.
I believe that every child is special and created with purpose, and I am honored to help guide them as they learn more about God and grow closer to Him. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, watching my son play basketball, cheering on my husband as he coaches, traveling, and finding fun, creative ways to bring joy into everyday moments.

Wyckoff Christian Preschool and Kindergarten is located on the Campus of Cornerstone Christian Church in the lower level of the McGuill Ministry Center. This school of excellence has been located on the Campus of Cornerstone Christian Church since 1995. We have over 20 staff members with an enrollment of approximately 150 children for each school year.
Cornerstone Christian Church is proud of this educational ministry. Our school is designed to enhance learning and imagination and to create an atmosphere that fosters academic, physical, developmental, and spiritual growth for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. Our program reflects our values and belief that God’s Word is the foundation of truth and that God’s love should be the model for our lives. The School Board oversees every aspect of the preschool’s operations.
The preschool is licensed by the State of New Jersey and is in full compliance with regulations established by the New Jersey Department of Human Services for Child Care Centers. The school board and staff diligently provide children with a safe environment and a bountiful supply of creative materials and equipment in seven (7) state-of-the-art classrooms and has both an outdoor and indoor playground.
