What Is Cornerstone Youth?

Cornerstone Youth is a growing group of friends who have decided to be “all in” for Jesus and His Kingdom.

At Cornerstone Youth, we believe the best way to grow in our faith is through increased biblical literacy, a diverse team of leaders, and belonging to our local church.

Every First Wednesday, 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Starting September 2nd

We're opening our newly renovated youth space to middle school and high school students on the first Wednesday of each month after school from 3:00pm–5:00pm. It'll be a laid-back time for students to hang out, knock out homework, play some games, and grab café-quality food and drinks — pastries baked by folks in our church, espresso drinks (hot or iced), and homemade refreshers. Whether your student already calls Cornerstone home or is just looking for a good place to land after school, we'd love to have them. Bring a friend!

A Growing Biblical Literacy

At Cornerstone Youth we believe only Jesus Christ is capable of saving us. The best way to know who Jesus is, how to grow in a relationship with Him, and to learn the story of our salvation is through time in His Word. Each week we gather with our students and take time to read the Bible and teach it in a way that is equipping and informative. This usually happens at our weekly youth programming.

Our youth groups are something students genuinely look forward to each week. During the school year, from September through June, middle school and high school students gather for a night that’s fun, welcoming, and grounded in faith. Each week includes time to hang out with friends, play games, enjoy live music, hear a relevant message, and talk through real-life questions in small groups. We want students to have a space where they can be themselves, build strong friendships, and grow in their understanding of Jesus. At the same time, parents can feel confident knowing their teens are in a safe, caring environment where biblical truth, meaningful conversations, and spiritual growth are taken seriously. Both middle school and high school groups meet on campus in our MMC building.

A Diverse Team of Leaders

At Cornerstone Youth we believe God has made every person unique and different. We also believe God loves diversity with all of His people. With that in mind, we try our best to have a well-rounded and diverse team of paid and volunteer leaders of different ages, backgrounds, and vocational callings. Each youth life group has two or three adult leaders to grow in relationship with students as they help guide them on their spiritual journey.

A Belonging to the Church

At Cornerstone Youth we believe the best way to foster a lifelong faith is to be connected to the local church. This means we try to find new and creative ways to have students become active in as many areas as possible. This experience allows students to meet adult role models outside of youth programming, helps them to develop their spiritual gifts, and equips them to be part of their local church body.
