We Have Three Gatherings For You To Choose From

Easter Gatherings at Cornerstone

Easter at Cornerstone is always a special time as we come together as a community to reflect on the hope and renewal we have in Jesus Christ and celebrate God's great love for us!

This year, we will have three Easter gathering times to choose from, each offering the same worship experience and inspiring message. You can get the details for each below, as well as all the information you need about our Good Friday gatherings and annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Easter Egg Hunt

Hop on over and join us for our annual Easter egg hunt on March 30th. This is one of our favorite events and is lots of fun for the whole family, with crafts, snacks, a petting zoo, and egg hunts by age group!

We will have a hunt just for our friends with special needs at 9:00am. Egg hunts for kids ages 0 to 11 years old will be from 10:00am to noon.

We also need some helping hands to make it all happen, so if you are willing and able on the morning of March 30th, please sign up through the link here to let us know you can help.

This event is weather permitting so be sure to check our website or social media if the weather looks questionable.

Easter Offering

This Lent, we are reflecting on how we can make room for Jesus to work in our lives. As we make room for Jesus in our hearts, we can also make room for Him to work by supporting those who spread the love and message of Jesus to those around them. Our upcoming Easter offering is an opportunity to do this.

As part of our Easter tradition at Cornerstone, we collect a special offering to support a ministry outside our church. We are excited to announce that this year's offering will support two remarkable organizations. The offering will be divided equally between two building projects: a Training Center in Niger and a Mobilization Center in New Jersey.

All contributions received for this Easter offering will be allocated to these projects. Please indicate 'Easter Offering' in the memo portion of your check and drop it in one of the Giving Boxes in the Gallery. You can also give online through the button below and select 'Easter Offering' from the drop-down menu.

Please prayerfully consider contributing to this Easter offering.

The Navigators Africa

The Navigators Africa is constructing a Training Center in Niger, a predominantly Muslim community. This facility will play a crucial role in training and equipping young Gospel workers and provide office space, a library of discipleship materials, and an authentic presence in the community. By contributing to this project, we actively build a community of believers, invest in the next generation of Gospel workers, and generously serve those in need. Our goal is to raise $50K to support this initiative.

City Relief

The second building project is for City Relief, a ministry serving the unhoused in New Jersey and New York for 30 years. City Relief is establishing a Mobilization Center in Clifton, New Jersey, as an essential hub for expanded outreach efforts and training opportunities. Your support will contribute to external renovations, expanding space for food preparation, bus parking, volunteer training, and material storage. Our goal is to raise $50K to help offset their total cost of $595,000.

What to Expect

What do I wear?

We invite you to come in whatever feels comfortable for you. At Easter, some people take the special occasion to dress up and get a family photo, while others choose to dress more casually. There's no special dress code required so come as you are!

What about my kids?

We will have childcare available for kids up through 1st grade on Good Friday at the 5:30pm gathering and full kids care and programming available on Easter Sunday at the 9:00am and 10:45am gatherings. We offer a safe and loving environment where kids can sing songs, do crafts, and learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate manner. When you arrive there will be volunteers there to greet you, help you check-in, and let you know where to go.

When should I get there?

If you have children who will be attending our nursery or kids programming, especially if it's your first time, you may want to arrive about 15 minutes early to allow time for check in, drop off, and finding your seats. There will be volunteers available to help and get where you need to go. If you are not dropping off kids, plan to arrive about 10 minutes early to allow for parking and in order to find a seat.

Where do I park?

There's plenty of parking throughout our campus. You can see the campus map below for parking locations. If our campus parking is full, you can cross over through the driveway across from our playground into the connected Community Park lot next door and park there.

Let's make sure you get to the right place...
