It’s our goal to invest in the next generation. That means that everything we do in Cornerstone Kids is focused on child discipleship, family discipleship, and outreach to families. We want the next generation to be ready and equipped to live and serve in their own communities. All of our programming and events are created with this focus in mind, and we are excited to be able to come alongside families and minister to their children.

One Wish at a Time

Kids Programs
We have a place for kids of all ages! On Sunday mornings, we offer a safe and loving nursery program for infants and toddlers through age 2. Kids ages 2 through 5th grade will enjoy an interactive experience in Kids Church which includes singing, a Bible lesson, themed activities, and a chance to play and interact with a great community of kids their own age. Nursery and Kids Church classes up to 1st grade meet every week in the lower MMC, and older children in grades 2nd through 5th meet weekly in the upper MMC youth center.

Are you feeling a nudge to serve in Kids Church?
Serve offers the perfect opportunity to see what serving in Kids Church is all about!
Each summer, we give our amazing year-round volunteers a much-needed break — that's where you come in! We're inviting our church family to step in and serve with our kids' programs by signing up for just 2 or 3 Sundays this summer. It takes 10 people upstairs and 27 people downstairs each week to make it all happen — that's 370 volunteer spots over 10 weeks!

Family Fun Day
Saturday, August 9th, at 10:00am
Join us on Saturday, August 9th, from 10:00am to 12:00pm for a fun morning with your family! We'll have games, bounce houses, snacks, and activities. This is a great opportunity to spend time with friends and meet new people in our church community. This outdoor event is weather-dependent, so let's hope for sunshine! We also need about 25-30 volunteers to help make this event a success! Please sign up if you can lend a hand.
Registration is now open for AWANA!
AWANA is for children ages 3 through 5th grade and offers an exciting environment where kids develop a strong biblical foundation through engaging games, songs, Bible stories, and snacks. The program kicks off on September 21st and meets weekly from 5:00pm to 6:30pm through April. Registration closes on September 7th.
Volunteers Needed!
We are also looking for dedicated adult and teen volunteers to help shape the next generation's faith journey. Whether you have experience working with children or simply a heart to serve, we'd love to have you join our team. Volunteer training will be held on Sunday, September 14th, at 4:00pm in the Youth Room. This session will equip you with everything you need to feel confident and prepared for the program launch.

What Are Big Church Sundays?
At Cornerstone, we are committed to investing in the next generation of believers by fostering lifelong faith and nurturing a connection to the local church. We do this through age-specific programming geared to each stage of their spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical development from nursery age to high school, as well as through Big Church Sundays.
On Big Church Sundays, we invite kids, second grade and up, to join us and experience church as we do. The sermons are designed to engage both adults and children, using humor, captivating illustrations, and shorter sermon lengths for young believers. This shared experience helps children feel at home with the larger church family, fostering a sense of belonging and connection within our church community.

I have been at Cornerstone since 2016 but began my role in Family Ministry in February 2023. Wyckoff Christian Preschool and Kindergarten is located on the Campus of Cornerstone Christian Church in the lower level of the McGuill Ministry Center. This school of excellence has been located on the Campus of Cornerstone Christian Church since 1995. We have over 20 staff members with an enrollment of approximately 150 children for each school year.
Cornerstone Christian Church is proud of this educational ministry. Our school is designed to enhance learning and imagination and to create an atmosphere that fosters academic, physical, developmental, and spiritual growth for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. Our program reflects our values and belief that God’s Word is the foundation of truth and that God’s love should be the model for our lives. The School Board oversees every aspect of the preschool’s operations.
The preschool is licensed by the State of New Jersey and is in full compliance with regulations established by the New Jersey Department of Human Services for Child Care Centers. The school board and staff diligently provide children with a safe environment and a bountiful supply of creative materials and equipment in seven (7) state-of-the-art classrooms and has both an outdoor and indoor playground.
