You Are Not Alone
Jesus always cared for the hurting, and here at Cornerstone, we strive to follow His example. We want to be a place where those in need and looking for guidance can find help.
In those times when you are hurting — physically, emotionally, or spiritually — it helps to have someone there who will listen, support, and encourage you. Our desire is to provide help for individuals, couples, and families to grow in their faith during these difficult times.
Our pastoral staff is on hand to provide care and counseling. This includes visitation, funeral support, bereavement care, post-injury or surgery care, and senior care, as well as celebrations such as adoptions, births, and weddings.
You don't have to face life's challenges alone. If you're in need of support, whether emotional, mental, spiritual, or substance-related issues, let us help. Email care@cornerstonenj.org for pastoral support, resources, or professional referrals.
MAKE A CONNECTION
We believe that one of the best ways to receive ongoing care is by joining a Life Group. Cornerstone offers various groups that meet throughout the week. They are a great way to grow in faith while building relationships and caring for others. Click the button below to learn more about our different groups.
Support Groups
For those going through a difficult time, we offer the following groups. We strive to be a safe space for you to receive the help you need within a caring community. If you have an idea for an unmet need or have any questions about our care groups, please email care@cornertonenj.org.
Celebrate Recovery is a biblically balanced approach to help bring sustainable recovery and healing for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, addiction, or hang-ups of any kind. It is a safe place to find community and freedom from the strongholds that are controlling our lives and to find guidance toward new healthy truths and life-giving habits.
GriefShare is a support group for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found not many people understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare helps you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
DivorceCare is a Christ-centered program to help those going through the pain of separation or divorce. Our DivorceCare group is led by caring individuals who understand what you’re going through and want to come alongside you as you begin to heal and rebuild your life.
Are you or a loved one facing mental health challenges? You're not alone. Our mental health support group, led by a professional, offers a safe space to explore these challenges within our faith community. We'll learn about recovery strategies, self-care, and finding ongoing support. Whether you're struggling personally or supporting someone else, join us to find hope, healing, and strength in a supportive, faith-centered environment.
Upcoming Events
We want to support you no matter the season you find yourself in. For those going through a difficult time, we offer the following groups. If you have any questions about our care groups, please email care@cornertonenj.org.
Benevolence
Cornerstone’s Elders administer the Benevolent Fund for the benefit of those in our church community (regular attenders) who are in acute financial need. Long-term assistance is not provided from this fund. Typical needs met are for food, shelter, clothing, transportation and healthcare and counseling expenses. Family should be approached to help meet a need before the church is approached. As stewards of this Fund, the Elders need to document the need and how it was met, so documentation will be required for all requests, including the bills requested to be paid and financial information verifying the need cannot be met (paystubs and family budgets). If you have questions or would like to discuss your situation with a member of our team, contact benevolence@cornestonenj.org.
