What Is Cornerstone Youth?

Cornerstone Youth is a growing group of friends who have decided to be “all in” for Jesus and His Kingdom.

At Cornerstone Youth, we believe the best way to grow in our faith is through increased biblical literacy, a diverse team of leaders, and belonging to our local church.

A Growing Biblical Literacy

At Cornerstone Youth we believe only Jesus Christ is capable of saving us. The best way to know who Jesus is, how to grow in a relationship with Him, and to learn the story of our salvation is through time in His Word. Each week we gather with our students and take time to read the Bible and teach it in a way that is equipping and informative. This usually happens at our weekly youth programming.

Sundays at 9:00am

Our Youth Sunday program is designed to help middle and high school students forge meaningful friendships, deepen their understanding of Jesus, grow in Bible literacy, and navigate their formative years through the lens of faith. Students gather Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall for a specialized program tailored to their unique needs and interests. Youth Sunday provides a welcoming space for students to connect with God and with one another.

A Diverse Team of Leaders

At Cornerstone Youth we believe God has made every person unique and different. We also believe God loves diversity with all of His people. With that in mind, we try our best to have a well-rounded and diverse team of paid and volunteer leaders of different ages, backgrounds, and vocational callings. Each youth life group has two or three adult leaders to grow in relationship with students as they help guide them on their spiritual journey.

Hey! I'm Luke, and I oversee AWANA and Kids Church on Sunday mornings for 2nd-5th graders! I also assist with the middle school youth group on Tuesdays. In my free time, I like to run, eat, and have game nights with friends. I am blessed to serve in this role and am grateful to be able to invest in the next generation!

A Belonging to the Church

At Cornerstone Youth we believe the best way to foster a lifelong faith is to be connected to the local church. This means we try to find new and creative ways to have students become active in as many areas as possible. This experience allows students to meet adult role models outside of youth programming, helps them to develop their spiritual gifts, and equips them to be part of their local church body.
