What Is Cornerstone Youth?
Cornerstone Youth is a growing group of friends who have decided to be “all in” for Jesus and His Kingdom.
At Cornerstone Youth, we believe the best way to grow in our faith is through increased biblical literacy, a diverse team of leaders, and belonging to our local church.

Middle and high school students, you’re invited to a retreat at Shiloh Bible Camp, Friday, November 21st, through Sunday, November 23rd! We will be focusing on “Making Space” to discover how to connect with Jesus in the midst of our busy, everyday lives. Between school assignments, practice schedules, and time with friends and family, it’s easy to feel like there’s no room left for God. But what if you could learn to meet Him right in the middle of it all? We know life is full, but Jesus is meant to be at the center of it all. This retreat is about learning how to make Him the center and practicing what it looks like to live from that place.
Who?
Both our middle and high school students are invited to join us on this retreat. Students will be together for session times and for a limited amount of games. Most of the time will be spent in their age groups.
When?
November 21st-23rd
How?
We will take a bus up on Friday at 5:30 and return to Cornerstone at 12pm.
Why?
Because retreats are the best! We believe that retreats are one of the primary ways we grow in our faith. You will grow more in your faith on a three-day retreat than in three months without one.
The cost for the retreat is $160 per student; however, a family discount will be applied for families with multiple students attending. Please reach out for this discount. Scholarships are also available upon request.
The registration deadline is October 31st. Any student interested in attending after the deadline has passed must reach out to Jack Hein at jhein@cornerstonenj.org.

Youth Programs

6th-8th Grade
Tuesdays from 7:00pm-9:00pm

9th-12th Grade
Thursdays from 7:00pm-9:00pm
Our youth groups meet weekly throughout the school year (September through June) for Bible study, discussion, and fellowship. We focus on building biblical literacy while creating a welcoming environment where students can learn about Jesus and what it means to follow Him. Each week includes time to hang out with friends, play games, worship, listen to a message, and participate in small group discussions. Our goal is to help students grow in their faith while building meaningful relationships. Both middle school and high school youth groups meet on campus in our MMC building.

Meet The Team
Youth Ministry Team
Hello! I'm Jack and I am the team leader for our Family Ministries team. That means I get to oversee our awesome Family Team staff and support them in any way I can. Most of my time goes to our middle and high school students and all the programming for them.
Jack Hein

Hey! I'm Luke, and I oversee AWANA and Kids Church on Sunday mornings for 2nd-5th graders! I also assist with the middle school youth group on Tuesdays. In my free time, I like to run, eat, and have game nights with friends. I am blessed to serve in this role and am grateful to be able to invest in the next generation!
LUKE OSTERHUS

Hey, I’m Garrett. I am the Youth Director overseeing Middle School programming and Youth Sundays. Just like everyone on the Family team, I am excited to engage the next generation in the community of the church and communicate the Gospel alongside parents. If we haven’t met, feel free to pull me aside and introduce yourself! I’m always interested in a new face!
