At Cornerstone Christian Church, it is our heart’s desire to build and invest in community. We do so through worshiping together, meeting in small groups, and serving our community through a variety of programs. We believe that every life matters to God and is an important part of our community.
It is our goal to create an inclusive community that welcomes and celebrates those with special needs and partners with their families. Our church family is passionate about our Special Needs Ministry and we are excited to see it grow!
During our 9:00am Kids Church program, we are excited to have Buddies. Our buddies are partnered with children to provide support, sensory tools, comfort, and safety. We also have a class for High School-Young Adult individuals who benefit from one-on-one support and a specialized Sunday morning class. It is our goal to provide loving, safe, and inclusive environments for all. We ask that new families reach out to our Special Needs Coordinator to ensure that we are prepared to welcome your child with great big smiles and any supports in place needed for a positive, safe experience.
Buddies are not only a part of Kids Church on Sunday mornings. Please reach out to us if your son or daughter would benefit from a buddy at youth group or in one of our other ministries or special events.
We’re looking for volunteers who can assist with our Special Needs Ministry. There are several volunteer opportunities ranging from Sunday mornings to midweek buddies to special events.
