Mercedes, along with her husband Bob, helps lead our Sunday coffee team. They are always ready to welcome and serve with joy and a smile. When we asked Mercedes why she loves serving, she responded, "For the love of God!" Mercedes says that it gives her something to look forward to and that she is also humbled by how much more she feels like she gets from it than what she gives. A few fun facts about Mercedes are that she worked as an ER nurse for 52 years and loves spending time gardening and feeding birds. Thank you so much, Mercedes, for loving and caring for our community! We have individuals available after each Sunday gathering to pray with you and a team of at-home prayer warriors dedicated to lifting up the needs of those in our church to the Lord throughout the week. Our College & Career Ministry is excited to partne Our College & Career Ministry is excited to partner with Restoration Family Farm to offer a Dating Well Workshop! This workshop is for anyone aged 18 to 30s who wants to learn about what it means to date well as a Christian. Rob & Jen Schwinge from RFF will offer Biblical and practical wisdom in navigating relationships and singleness. The workshop will run on Sunday, October 1st, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm in the Cornerstone Youth Room. We'll have a large group session, then split into guys and gals breakout groups to continue the conversation. We'll come back together to wrap up our night with prayer and worship. Restoration Family Farm is a Christian nonprofit, and they're hosting this workshop for free as part of their ministry! We want to care for and support their ministry, so we are charging just $10/person or $15/couple, which will be donated directly to Restoration Family Farm ministries. (Limited scholarships are available based on need.) The Cornerstone Choir is seeking singers for our C The Cornerstone Choir is seeking singers for our Christmas Worship Event. Rehearsals begin September 27 and will meet weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30pm in the Chapel. Sunday rehearsals will begin on October 8th at 9:00am. You can choose whichever day and time works best for you or mix them up to best fit your schedule. You don't need to be able to read music; we will help you learn your part at rehearsals and with audio resources.
