Middle School Retreat 2020
As followers of Jesus, we are called to give God our time and attention. We hope this retreat gives students the tools to learn how to better hear from God and why a relationship with God is so powerful.
Our theme for this retreat will be spiritual disciples and why they matter in our daily lives. So often, when asked how to get closer to God, we answer pray and read your Bible. But how do we do that? We will look at some practices that will help us move closer to God and open ourselves to the transforming love of the Creator as well as ask why it is so important we do so. Giving students the tools and value of spiritual disciplines sets us up to dwell in the presence and grace of God.
We will be meeting at Cornerstone Christian Church on Friday, March 13 at 5:30 pm for drop-off and will return to Cornerstone on Sunday March 15 at 12:00 pm for pick-up.
The cost is $150.00 per student which includes lodging, transportation and all meals. You can pay by credit card now or pay later by check – made payable to CCC. If you choose to pay later, please drop off your check on Tuesday Night, Sunday Morning, or to the Church Office during the week.
Deadline to sign up is Sunday March 8. Please contact Katie after the registration deadline if you wish to attend.
