AN UNFORGETTABLE PROM NIGHT EXPERIENCE
Changing Valentine’s Day weekend from simply a celebration of love,
to a celebration of God’s love, for people with special needs
Registration for honored
guests is open now!
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older.
We are thrilled that Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, is coming to Cornerstone Christian Church on Friday, February 8 (snow date February 15). This memorable prom-like experience, for individuals aged 14 and older who have special needs, will take place in hundreds of churches, world-wide. Being selected as a host church allows us to celebrate God’s love for our honored guests and welcome their families. Participants will be provided the “royal treatment”, including dinner and dancing, professional hair styling, makeup services, shoe-shining, and much more, as well as a Christ-centered message from Tim Tebow.

6:00-9:00PM in the MMC
Note we are at capacity for our volunteers. If you still are interested in serving you can add your name to the waitlist and we will inform you of availability.
All those who volunteer with minors or vulnerable adults at Cornerstone Christian Church are required to go through our confidential background checks as the safety and security of vulnerable persons in our care is so important. If you register to serve as an event volunteer, you will be notified whether you already have a current application.
Because this event is for guests 14 and up we’re seeking volunteers who are in high school and older. Pre-event setup, however, is an area in which a family may enjoy serving together.
If you would like to donate goods and/or services for this event, please contact Salliann Ran.
There are so many ways to get involved both before and during the event. Below are some areas to consider:
Event Team Volunteers
More than 200 volunteers will be needed to serve during the event, in its entirety or in part, in many areas including:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (professionals only)
photographers, hair/make-up stylists, caterers, florists, and limousine drivers bring their special skills.
MEDICAL AND SECURITY (professionals and volunteers)
ensure a safe, accessible environment for our guests, and assist with a safe flow around the campus, parking lot and indoor spaces.
TEAMS OF VOLUNTEERS
provide a warm and cheerful welcome, and assist in arrival/departure, food service, and activities. In addition, one-on-one volunteers will accompany guests throughout the evening. This latter role is ideal for someone with a background as a special educator, or has experience with people in the special needs community. However, experience is not essential; a ready heart and willingness to learn during training will get you ready for Night to Shine.

Décor, Setup + Clean Up Team Volunteers
Setup and decorating team volunteers will transform our facilities in advance and on the day of the event. Training and background checks are not required for the Décor/Setup/Cleanup Teams.
This is a great opportunity for parents to serve together with their children. There is no age requirement to help in pre-event areas, and these volunteers do not have to attend the volunteer training.
