5 Finger Prayer

Our 2nd-5th graders have learned a tool that helps us when we pray. Each of our fingers represents 5 things we should include in our prayers.

Finger 1: Praise! God,you are …… (amazing, powerful,kind)
Finger 2: Confess! God, I am sorry for….
Finger 3: Thanks! Thank you God for ………
Finger 4: Intercession! Pray for others
Finger 5: Petition! Pray for ourselves

Today’s theme for Cornerstone Kids: Let’s pray for anyone we know in our family or neighborhood who is sick and not feeling well.
