Women's Outreach: Clothing Drop-Off
Mar 18, 2017 at 9:00 AM

“The Purple Cloth” is committed to sharing the love of Jesus by selling gently-loved clothing contributed by local women to help fund specific needs for other non-profit organizations.

Our women’s ministry is teaming up with “The Purple Cloth”, a local organization started by women from Cornerstone, to help rescue and restore victims of sex trafficking through the ministry of IJM International.

The goal is to raise $6,850 to purchase IJM’s “Freedom Package,” which will provide everything needed to rescue girls and women from traffickers:

  • A sex trafficking rescue operation
  • Aftercare packages for ten survivors
  • Trauma counseling for multiple survivors

Consider purging your closet of gently-used clothes and accessories that you do not wear, and bring your donations to The Barn between 9:00am & 11:00am on Saturday, March 18. Selected items will be sold at a “Pop-Up Boutique,” hosted by Cornerstone Women, on Friday, May 5 and the remaining items will be donated to Star of Hope. Save the dates!
